What did you do at the radio station?
After high school I worked on the technical side building/modifying/maintaining electronic equipment.
Nothing as interesting as that. I ripped copy off a teletype machine and read the news "on the air". I had no qualifications (or knowledge) to do anything technical. I only did that for a month or two. It was a volunteer, no pay job. There was station politics (personnel and egos, not the left right center kind) to contend with and, more importantly, music and bands to play in. It was also DC in the late 60's and there was a lot of other stuff going on. Oh yeah... and classes too. I was not a stellar student.
