It's a pitiful dog who returns home after a skunk close encounter of the first kind, but not nearly as pitiful as a dog who returns home after a porcupine encounter of the first kind.

Not as bad though, as a bear encounter of ANY kind....:D

All very true, but subordinated by the return home after an encounter with a snapping turtle (Mark 1, Mod 1, Alligator type, standard size), which often doesn't occur. :meh:

It’s the regular small on my screen. If you click on it the size expands. If all you see is the large one, try clicking on that.
Must be sumthin on my iPad doing it. This is what is see often from posts...

It turns out that it isn’t just you. I’m using an ipad as well. There must be a bug in the software. I see this when I read the post:

When I refresh the page, I see an expanded version, same as you. It shouldn’t be doing that.

When I back up a page it looks normal. Weird.

When you post on TB, they have their own set of emojis. This one must be on the computer OS. I’m wondering if the TB software is processing the image and altering the size in an attempt to optimize the display. It could be a bug in the TB software, not on our systems.

I have a layman's theory. I think if you use the emoji's included with iPad, the screen will mistake it for a gif and oversize it to full screen. If you use the emoji's included with Talkbass, they are designed to properly display. I read on other Apple posts of people complaining of oversized emoji's.
Honestly, I thought they were posting that way on purpose. Thanks for your take on it.

I'm using a MacBook, and sometimes as the page loads an emoji might be gigantic for a half-second, but goes to normal size as the loading completes. I dunno. If I have a "shrug" emoji, much less a French one or an onion shrug, its location hasn't been made known to me.

After many years of Macs and PCs, I have learned that sometimes it's better not to know.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
