Did my one mile walk/jog, rested a bit, then took out two barberry bushes. Nice shrubberies but they were about 15 yrs old and were gradually ceasing to exist. They were becoming an ex-shrubbery. They have about a million thorns about 1/4" long, fun working around that!

Now time to crank up the espresso machine and have a cinnamon roll.

I used to be. Loved making buildings out of plans in the magazines. probably still have a few N gauge pieces somewhere. Got the bug from my dad who started big basement layouts more than a couple of times...but never finished them.
I still get a kick out of checking out some of the outrageous layouts on Youtube.

I, too, still have some N-gauge stuff in a big box in a closet. It's been close to 20 years since I've looked at it, and was only into it (obsessively, of course) for a few years.

Yeah, the stand has boom. Singing is presently out of scope for me. What I see in the course of the work is I'm able to say note names out loud for the first time in my life. Singing ... far as I'm concerned any alleged singing on my part will sound to me like another ice age beastie stuck in the tar pits.

My time spent thinking about taking up model trains as a hobby is too short to be measured by quantum computers
