Good for you!
I had an EKG years ago as part of the annual phy exam. Doc said I had PVC and wanted me to see a heart guy. He said PVC is common and most don't even know they have it and not to worry too much. Then why the heart guy? So I went, stress tests, echo cardiogram, etc. etc. The heart guy comes in and says "you have weak heart" then turns around and starts walking away. Hey, hey, HEY! Come back here! He said my ejection fraction was borderline low but didn't explain what that meant. Then he walked out. I had to get a PA to explain what it meant which was the volume of blood inflow compared to outflow. I went back for a follow up about a month later and ended up talking to the head guy who founded the practice. I expressed my displeasure with the first doc. He took the time to carefully explain everything. Adjust your diet, get exercise.
And stop calling me Shirley.
