I was in an office supply store today and came across a Yamaha recorder. Couldn’t resist, it’s a plastic one that came with a nice cloth bag and cleaning rod. I figured for $5, I couldn’t go wrong.

Want to learn Fool On The Hill. The only noise I can make is bubble and squeak.

I had one years ago. Here's a tune that was recorded on it with a blues group I was in around 2000.

Sure looks like a lot of dead trees coming down right above the house.
I hope you can get your trees at least trimmed back. Could be a tragedy waiting to happen.
Hear, hear. Some of the best money we've ever spent on "property management" at Fort Winslow is having ailing or heavily-leaning trees within damage range of the house removed. FAR cheaper and easier to do that than dealing with the aftermath of one (or more) coming down uncontrolled in a storm. :bag:

Yeah, all the girls had cooties in second grade.
My girls didn't..................
Yeah, that was never a concern for me either. I've always found the company of ladies quite pleasant.

The only time I ever saw my father stay home from work is when he had shingles. It's that bad.
Yes, it is.

I was given an orchestra-grade recorder by a very kind elder when I was a lad. Never could manage to get anything out of it that could be considered remotely musical. I passed it along to someone who admired it, and haven't missed it.

May you have better luck and results than I did.

Good song, it really sounds good from that recorder. Yamaha always made well enginneered products. Nothing that sounds cheesy today. I still use a coiuple of their products, drum machne and DX7 from the 80's. Their drum products are really nice as well.
