I was taking a drive one day and slowed to watch a 7' rattler crossing the road. Woods on both sides, I figgered he was where he was s'posed to be, so I let him be.Oh, I could say something, but I won't except, Patrick is needed here...

I was telling a friend of mine about a ride I took on a ferry boat. He replied "I didn't know they had a navy".
Well, I didn't get outta the car to make his acquaintance.Wise choice...although I have heard the young ones are more dangerous because they cannot control their venom...kids these days...
I was in an office supply store today and came across a Yamaha recorder. Couldn’t resist, it’s a plastic one that came with a nice cloth bag and cleaning rod. I figured for $5, I couldn’t go wrong.
Want to learn Fool On The Hill. The only noise I can make is bubble and squeak.

Similar song thematically. Probably my favorite of all time. Feels like it was written for me. The only song where I know the lyrics to the entire song.

Sure looks like a lot of dead trees coming down right above the house.
Hear, hear. Some of the best money we've ever spent on "property management" at Fort Winslow is having ailing or heavily-leaning trees within damage range of the house removed. FAR cheaper and easier to do that than dealing with the aftermath of one (or more) coming down uncontrolled in a storm.I hope you can get your trees at least trimmed back. Could be a tragedy waiting to happen.

Yeah, all the girls had cooties in second grade.
Yeah, that was never a concern for me either. I've always found the company of ladies quite pleasant. My girls didn't..................
Yes, it is.The only time I ever saw my father stay home from work is when he had shingles. It's that bad.
I was given an orchestra-grade recorder by a very kind elder when I was a lad. Never could manage to get anything out of it that could be considered remotely musical. I passed it along to someone who admired it, and haven't missed it.I was in an office supply store today and came across a Yamaha recorder. ... The only noise I can make is bubble and squeak.

I had one years ago. Here's a tune that was recorded on it with a blues group I was in around 2000.
