Got shot #2 Pfizer today. I hope it doesn't take me down. I have stuff to do.
I can’t deny, the 2nd shot left me feeling funky (here in JoJa, it’s referred to as ‘puny’) for 2 or 3 daze.
No worries!

Nice picture! As an aside, I always thought two of the coolest airline call signs were Air Lingus who uses Shamrock and British Airways who uses Speedbird. I'll give honorable mentions to Hong Kong's Dragonair who goes by Dragon and China Airlines who uses Dynasty.
I'm not sure if they still use it or not, but the Hawaiian Airlines daily non-stop between NY and Hawaii (Flight 50) used to be referred to by ATC and pilots as "Hawaii Five-0". A slight breach of communications procedure, but no one could resist.
Funny.
But they don’t make Viagra any more. The company was broken up, that part of the business was sold off, as was all the over the counter consumer products such as Advil and vitamins. Now the just make what are called bio-pharma products.

Reminder: Everyone be careful tonight. It's "Amateur Drinker's Night" wherein many people consume way too much of that traditional Irish beverage. You know, green Budweiser.

I had the side effects from the Shingrix shot last night. Just like the flu except no respiratory problems. It's pretty much gone now but I'm dragging from lack of sleep. I'll gladly trade a day or two of that to not get shingles!
On a positive note, I got out of bed about 4:30 and watched a thunderstorm roll through with some pretty spectacular lightning.
On a negative note, besides the shingrix stuff, I had "Philadelphia Freedom" stuck in my head for a while and on top of that I can't stand that song. It ranks right there with Little Brown Jug, way at the bottom of any list.
If anyone posts a youtube of that song, you will be grounded for a week! I mean it this time!

I tried, I really did, but I was unable to watch that video all the way through.
I've had some fun St. Paddy's though. Kinda hard to rank, because they were so different, so here are my top three, in no particular order.
a) The Rocks near Circular Quay in Sydney, Australia. Each hotel (bar; different rules there) had a tent top covering the street in front of their establishment with entertainment. A whole street of those. Beer was available in bottles only. You'd order them from a window of the "hotel" (best to get as many as you could hold; long lines). A ginormous pile of broken glass along the entire curb running the length of the street. Difficult to step over. I had a blast.
b) New Orleans. Far superior experience to Mardi Gras. Much more local. Big parade. Eat early. Skip the famous places. Figure out which clubs were the after-hours ones, and which ones changed from straight to gay and at what time. Finish the night, well 4am, at the Café du Monde, sitting on this terrace having a coffee and a couple of beignets. I had a blast.

c) Midtown Manhattan. I spent one week/month there for a year on a consulting gig, and happened to be in town for St. Paddy's. There was an Irish Pub across the street from the hotel I first stayed at that I used to frequent (travelling alone, I liked places where I could eat at the bar). Come St. Paddy's, I hung at the parade for awhile (much lunacy!) and then headed over to the pub. Which was a$$hole to elbow. I created an unintentional scene when the bartender recognized me, poured me a pint ahead of a LONG line of peeps and passed it through the crowd. Lotta peeps trying to figure out who the heck I was, while the bartender and I got a good laugh out of it (me being a nobody!). I had a blast.
And then there was Chicago's St. Paddy's Day, dyeing the Chicago River green as well as beer that made Budweiser taste good.
I lived down there for many years, and really didn't enjoy the influx downtown on the 17th. Much poor behavior. At some point, things stop being fun and start being obnoxious.So, St. Paddy's is kinda like other people's children. They're fun to play with, but they go home with Mom and Dad at night.
Make St. Paddy's a short holiday/vacation. Somewhere else!
