Get off my LAWN! "Grumpy Old Farts"

I hate to pull us back off-topic, but I'm looking at some ART preamp stuff and wondered if any GOFs have tried these. I have the phono USB pre and ART seriously needs to double the price on that one. Built like a brick !@#$% house and works very, very well in all aspects. Also works with about any OS you can throw at it for the USB. I wouldn't mind a pre with USB for connection to a DAW so I don't have to pull that from the stereo or run RCA's into my stereo amp to get USB out.

I actually might get two. I've read elsewhere on TB that this one is great for voice or as a bass pre, the Tube MP V3 Studio: ART Tube MP Studio V3 I'm thinking that one and a condenser mic to mic my wife's lovely voice. I think the meter would be a nice visual to how loud her voice is.

What about the tube MPC? ART Tube MP/C is that the same thing only different? Like you dial in your own tone rather than the pre-selects?

Or: ART Tube MP Project Series USB to get USB.

Maybe I need three :D

So I need a decent, but not too $$$ mic setup for my wife, and it would be fun to play around with one as a bass preamp, and USB is good.

Other options, opinions or experiance with ART or similar products?

Good thinking! Another benefit is it makes my wife worry about my health.

Calories are one of the biggest expenses most people have that they can do something about, so I refuse to exercise and avoid physical labor. I strive to always use power tools and equipment that minimizes me physical efforts or better yet, get someone else to do the work.

It's been quiet here lately but for a few of us.

Where have all the G O F's gone, long time passing?
Where have all the G O F's gone, long time ago?

Young girls plucked their low B everyone.
Oh, when will they ever learn?
Oh, when will they ever learn?

Another flick with a bent timeline is "Memento" It's a good one, IMO.

I've seen neither, but since I have a bent time line, perhaps I should.

Maybe save my pesos for: ART Digital MPA II

Then I can digital out to the ART phono USB S/PDIF which is the only I/O left open when it's in the stereo.

Need something + a decent mic by Xmas. Heeeeeeeelp meeeeeeee GOF's...

I used the music to "Flowers" for part of the fallen soldier tribute segment that we did horseback, this was a military tribute show that we performed horseback over 100 times. Typically we used 7-9 horses/riders carrying flags (colors, branches and POW/MIA) plus a horse/rider ponying an all black Friesian horse carrying an empty saddle with boots facing backwards in honor of those who didn't return.

Every time I hear that song it stirs a lot of conflicting emotions.
