I have a laminate trim bit for the router. Works well. I might get a laminate trim with a round over to take the sharp edge off or hit it lightly with the sander. A regular round over bit might work, too.

Thought about that but don't want to keep up with another set of batteries to maintain especially on a tool that won't be used much.
If I had a 50’s malt-shop kitchen, I’d want a soft ice cream machine and one of these.

Green was a theme colour, as was sparkle plastic seats. That material was adopted by Custom.
It seems that Mr. Hamilton and Mr Beach located the company in Richmond Virginia. If the company was called Beach-Hamilton it might have been located on the west coast.

We've already ascertained death by bowling ball is a real thing.
Ebonite is hard rubber. Bowling ball stuff. Also fountain pen stuff. I've got a real Ebonite crescent filler fountain pen. It's a glorious piece, truly. Mark Twain threw his name in the ring for Conklin pens. They were the original crescent filler. Twain liked them because they don't roll off the desk. To me, it rattles.

I almost bought one of those when they introduced them some years ago. If it rattles, I'm glad I didn't.
Back in my yute, though, I did accidentally drop a bowling ball onto the floor tile, back in the seating area at the bowling alley. Who knew they bounced like that? Not Super-Ball high, but I was very surprised it bounced about up to my waist.

Brian Setzer is a yodeller. He often throws a little in at his shows.
In the early days at 16 years old, Brian couldn’t afford a good guitar. He found his famous Gretsch 6120 disassembled, hardware parts in a box for $100. He brought it to a local guy, Jess Oliver who designed the Ampeg B-15. Jess put the guitar back together. The rest is history. The Stray Cats kickstarted the rockabilly comeback.
Demand soared for that model. I managed to get a reissue when they first came out in the 80’s. Fred Gretsch Jr. wrote me a nice note to go with it. A lovely instrument. I wound up replacing the pickups with TVJones. Now, that’s what comes with these instruments so it was a good choice.
