Mike, don't you have a bird sanctuary? If so do you ever sell them? I've wanted one of these for a long time.
I place them for adoption. You're outside our range, but there are places near you where you could apply once you get back to the States....Foster Parrots and Rhode Island Parrot Rescue are two I know of.

I’ll pass.

You secretly a frustrated mess sergeant, are ya?
Riiiiight, she didn't say who consumed those servings! And if it was you Morrighan, just keep in mind, "all things in moderation" and you'll be fine!

ETA: my dad (Army, between Korea and Vietnam) made SOS for us kids about every two weeks. We loved it. I havent had it for nigh on 40 years. Time to make some again!

This was me and Odin today

this was the second smoked bone from the gruff guy at the growers' market. Presented it to him on Wednesday. He left the bone alone for an entire day. Showed no interest at all. Until late today, when took yummies in the least to most, saving the bone for last.

The results of my cooking extend to me and Odin.

Here my personal weirdosity meter has been spiking in the Hunter S. Thompson zone. No clue why I own and use a weirdosity meter because the navigational aids were hacked and, therefore, worse than useless.

The cat bass shipped and I'm psyched. Asked it be setup with GHS Balanced Nickels, which I was way tardy in sending. Nothing weird about that. That I'm eating SOS is weirder.

Took a surprise call from a colleague I've not spoken with in ? a year ? Her sister lived on the Hog Farm when she passed. I initiated the conversation with a text to say it's Wavy Gravy's 85th birthday in a couple weeks. She rang me right away, and we've been talking a bit since.

There are colleagues from newspapering days, and there are colleagues of post-newspapering days. This is one of those in the latter category. We're in the same field and never in the same place. She's checked Wednesday and says it's a three and a half hour drive. Ain't much.

What's here now is Walpurgisnacht. TL;DR if you know Fantasia, Walpurgisnacht is Night on Bald Mountain. Followed, come dawn, by Beltane — the first day of summer. BIG festival. And very much thinking about that. What I bring with me is a 1 Euro turquoise heart on a silver necklace I call The Heart of Ireland. Soon to be Beltane on Little Achill and feeling very close to this sacred place

Did the jazz/blues/rock gig tonight. Last time we had 2 customers. I predicted 5 for tonight. Missed it by 4. The owner is doing away w/ live music on Thursdays. Seems all the clubs do crappy on Thursday. Oh, well, back to watching hockey. (This is not a disappointment)
