Amazons in general and double yellows in particular are excellent singers. I had one here a few years ago that could sing several operatic arias, and a pair that sang Happy Birthday in perfect two part harmony.

Mike, don't you have a bird sanctuary? If so do you ever sell them? I've wanted one of these for a long time.

That's when you turn on yer 'four ways'.

Reminds me of the story of a guy who was pulled over for an illegal U turn. He told the officer he was only doing what the sign said:

I have a friend that lives in White Settlement. He works for UPS and he posted some pics of hail that came down at their terminal. His car took some damage from it.

I bought a brand new Pontiac in 2008, G8 GT and within 6 months we had a freak hail storm with hail as big as an inch around, we had gone food shopping and had just gotten everything inside when it started, I knew the sky looked strange. it needed a new hood and got pitted everywhere, it was in the body shop for quite a while, they fixed all the pitted areas the right way, new paint, the whole bit. Then I hit a deer within the same year and destroyed the hood again, the last hood has been on it now for a good ten years or more.

I also had a '95 Roadmaster Estate Wagon at the time and that sustained a lot less damage. I don't even remember having to bring it in to the body shop. I still have a '94, my '95 finally got totalled 4 or 5 years ago, someone pulled right out in front of me in a big SUV during a snowstorm, I hit the brakes and slid right into it. I love those cars, the 94's through 96's came stock with corvette V8's, dual exhaust and mine has limited slip. Hot rod station wagon.

Hail here, is often baseball size or larger. A suburb of Ft. Worth called Keller, got hot pretty hard last night.

Back in May of 94, Ft. Worth got hit by softball sized hail, that actually killed one person, and destroyed hundreds of vehicles. Some even penetrated the roofs and ceilings of houses.
Most people around here keep one eye on their TV, iPhone, or some other device this time of year, or anytime storms are brewing.
