Get off my LAWN! "Grumpy Old Farts"

Saw the headline on a news story yesterday where the host of a "news" program was encouraging viewers to confront people wearing masks. It was a video story and I didn't have any desire to watch it. Yeah, I'm reporting partial info just like that guy does.

Is the media now saying that masks are a bad thing? I see anti-mask protests in the park. But I think that the same group of people protest just about everything.

It is important to change or wash you mask once in a while. I saw someone with one of those blue filter paper masks, the bottom was black. It looked like maybe it was moldy.

Hold on! You got weather on the Weather Channel?? Every time I turn it on they're running a show about truck crashes. WT7?

LOL! It got to be show biz after NBC, et al. acquired it. IBM owns it now. We used to watch it pretty often before that when they actually did weather, actually. Gotta love that fake basement setup on the Weather Underground segment.

We get most of our severe weather updates from this guy. He used to be on a local TV station and now teaches. He has been extraordinarily accurate. Steve McCauley

Really. You guys are hurting. I saw an article yesterday with a pic of Lake Oroville. It looked more like a wide river in a valley than a lake. Lake Mead has been in trouble for a long time, too.

Here in NorCal, Lake Mendocino is at 40% capacity. This time of the year it should be 90%+. Does not look good for the summer/fall. They are talking about no outside use of water (topping up swimming pool, washing cars, sprinklers, etc.). Firefighters are going to look further for water. If I had my druthers, I would move north for the summer/fall ;).

In general, the media is not saying masks are a bad thing or at least the little bit I look at. I need to stop looking at that stuff because I usually get PO'd about something.

I've come up with-and submitted-an idea for helping replenish the lakes-and help alleviate other area's problems. Because I'm not some high paid doctor of anything, I'm ignored.:banghead:
