I believe that dogs are telepathic, just one look and you usually know exactly what they want. Not all creatures are as stupid as we are, they have a highly evolved ability to communicate.
For some unknown reason, there was an old but nice article about dogs in the paper today.

I’d hate to see one dig their way into the henhouse.
No henhouse here, and the parrothouse is predator proof. Polar bear might be able to get in if he worked at it, maybe a grizzly...but we don't even get black bears here. A coyote or fox could dig into the outdoor flight area, but we never have birds out unattended.

Used to join in for the last two hours armed with a couple mint juleps. Could be worth a return to old form.:drool:
Back in the day when I could actually metabolize alcohol, I fell in love with this bourbon. Not sure if I got connected to it because of the Kentucky Derby, or what, but I do miss it. No need to spend stupid money for Shangri-La level booze. Just a bottle of Woody and a glass. Dang. Would love to join you in one.

I can't tell you how much of those I ate back in the '50s. My fav was making multiple colors/flavors, cutting it into cubes, mix will with whipped cream, then layer onto a graham cracker crust.

SUGAR RUSH!

This photo calls it Broken Glass Dessert. I never had time for a name back them. :roflmao:

Plexiglas and whipped cream?

Rubber chicken was often on the inflight menu.

I shouldn’t knock airline food. I used to visit an airline catering company that sold frozen meals every Saturday. There were huge lines to get in. The food was inexpensive and tasted very good. They were bought out by another company and the sales came to an end.

We used to go to Las Vegas once or twice a year. The first few times we flew the hotel/air package thing on an L-1011 with about 200 added seats. It was kinda fun with everyone excited but it got old pretty quick when you had to pull your arms in like a T-Rex to drink or eat a snack. We started flying coach, better but you may or may not get any food and have to pay for drinks. We finally said screw that and we'll only fly first class now. Plenty of room in the seats, food is quite good, and free drinks. Get to board early and watch the steerage passengers go by giving you frustrated, dirty looks.

It reminds me of the Seinfeld episode. :roflmao:

So, you're saying you do get polar bears down your way? :bassist:
