I still have unfond memories about riding the BMW down I-95 to the dealer's place in Fredericksburg. It wasn't just pouring, but bucketing down. It was only supposed to sprinkle that day, but I guess the weather gods saw me out there and said, "Watch this." I wasn't worried so much about me riding in it, but my customary red alert status was elevated a bunch on account of the other vehicles out there. I arrived safe and sound, though, and completely dry, because the ethos at least then and in the BMW community at the time was that you wear all the gear all the time and I had on my good stuff.Rode the scooter for about a hour, had a few sprinkles. It's not any fun unless it's raining sideways.![]()

There's always a week or two when my work is thrown off because the EU does not change DST on the same day as The States.
Tired of being "here"? Do you wanna go "there"? Think things'll be so much better when you're "there"? But, what really happens when you get "there"? As soon as you get "there", the first thing you notice is, "Well, at last, I'm here"!
