To this day (even with a less than 100% right knee) if it's less than 10 floors, I walk. With all the money saving measures on maintenance and staff cutbacks in all areas of business, I'll go with stairs every time. When I was younger it used to keep me in shape for when I had to go to industrial sites or aboard ships.I never get on a full elevator now. If too many push their way on, I play elevator cop or get off and wait for another.
Define yourself by looking at the R&B, not the pop chart.
I think this is the one that you want. Some good songs that year.

I'll play. The Billboard top single in 1957 was "All Shook Up" by Elvis. By the Nolan Method in Top40Weekly, "Love Letters in the Sand" by Pat Boone. Or, "Diana" by Paul Anka.
No wonder I'm so confused.
I drew Two Lovers by Mary Wells for the week of my 7th birthday

Unlike an airplane, when a helicopter has an engine failure, the pilot has literally seconds to access the situation, find a landing spot, and bring it down. You have to be good.
The only chopper I got a ride in was an Army medivac. I was in worse shape when we got to the hospital than I was when the medics loaded me in.Why I will never ride in a helicopter again unless it's a medical emergency. I've flown in a Bell 47 a couple of times. Yeah, it's cool but I kept looking up at the rotor shaft and that's all that's holding it up.![]()
and how many stories is it to the up top?One of the senior management quips the heavyweights from [another newspaper] are visiting today. The very same heavyweights take several minutes to catch their breath at the top of the stairs leading to my team's "office". It is a very long set of stairs, but I take it daily. Over and over and over. There's no lift. There are four lifts in the building that run from the ground floor to the first story. Only stairs to "up top".![]()
