Gretsch has always offered various shades of green. This one is a short scale Torino green with a walnut fretboard. I like the walnut color.

Tom Petersson's Gretsch 12-string bass is called smoke green. Is that bass ever thunderous. He often plays a white one.

Man, what did I start with my innocent wonderings about an automotive paint color? That Gretsch is just plain fugly. Looks like Herman Munster's face.
Id be interested in hearing it.
His Ric 4000 is an orangy color. Maybe it's just how it faded. The white falcon color above is nice. They were very rare at one time. I think that the 12-string lists for $12K in the custom shop. At one time you could buy a nice house for that much.
I found some samples on YT of Petersson with the 12.
Different bass but you get the idea. I've tried using a harmonizer with the two octives above mixed in, it just isn't the same.
People think that Cheap Trick plays along with tapes because you jear guitar when the guitar player stops playing but it's all the bass laying down a thick backing sound.

Looks like Gretch retired the Torino Green Junior Jet for a Black one. Gretch offers the SS hollowbody 4 in in-your-face-red but is there a red Junior Jet? A white Junior Jet?
Fireglo. That color has changed a lot over the decades (I am partial to the ones that get kind of burgundy-ish at the edges); Tom's has definitely faded to a soft orange-y red, common for '50s and '60s Fireglo.

Are those rails to hold down a pulled bridge?
This would be the perfect song to feature the Gretsch 12-string bass. Tony Burrows sang lead.
It can't be easy to play.
They are for a sliding cover with a mute pad in it.
EDIT: note that the bridge is modified from a 6-string guitar one. That's how Electro String made those early ones, back in the century.
