The utility of that reply floors me. It could be the perfect reply to so many TB posts across almost all forums. Well crafted, sir. I wish I could like it a thousand times.

Lucky dog. We got more rain last night. Cloudy until noon. Sun out, but I'm not holding my breath.

We would like to see it stop for more than three days. It stopped early this AM with sun most of the day but it's pretty humid now. 50-60% chance of rain the rest of today, Sun, and Mon.

PS - When you're in the DFW area, give a shout. Maybe meet up for lunch.

Turned some wood into sawdust today. We had this wall hanger thing with pockets for letters and stuff but we used it for cell phones and car keys. I think we exceeded capacity after 35 yrs so it was coming apart. My wife bought it in Lost Wages when she and her mom made their first trip out there, so a little sentimental value with it.

Needed some place to drop phones, billfold, keys, etc., so I made this today and used part of the wall hanger on it. It has my usual rustic charm.

Stuff like this sells for upwards of 35 bucks on the internets. I hesitate to place monetary value on my work especially since my labor is worthless.

Will do, I don't get that far north very often, but I have a group I meet with in Frisco on a semi regular basis. It's a breakfast meeting, so I have to get really motivated, to drive two hours for breakfast.

Well, my three day weekend got cut short. Got called in due to co-worker being sick. will be working until 10 pm. Pop-Up thunderstorm directly West of me. starting to sprinkle. Guess, any plans I had would have been interrupted anyway.
I like your key/wallet holder.

Hey, how about sending us some of that rain before inviting people over for lunch. It would be much appreciated...;)

If you can build a key holder you can build a pine speaker cabinet.

An economist would say if your labor is worthless, then your profit would be nearly limitless!

Nope, you're good in this forum. It's the 1109 where loose tech talk mustn't be bandied about.

ah well my takeaway of the good event is I accepted an invitation to speak on campus with a faculty steering committee at an alma matar. There are some people who want to talk with me.
