Hey, how about sending us some of that rain before inviting people over for lunch. It would be much appreciated...;)

No kidding. Looking like another tough year for the west coast.

We got 4.91 inches of rain yesterday and early AM today. Most of it came down in 2.5 hrs from 7:30-10. Rainfall rates were 4"/hr a couple of times. I would say that's in the torrential range. On tap for more later today and tomorrow.

An economist would say if your labor is worthless, then your profit would be nearly limitless!

:roflmao:

LOL!

Then I'm rich beyond measure! We'll except for the trips to Lowes to buy stuff. Hmmm...report the labor and materials separately on the P&L, write off the materials as a business expense. I'll never have to work again! Wait...I already don't work. I may have made a mistake in my calculations.

a most morning kind of morning

In the last 30 days we've taken in 20 birds, and nearly all came with moderate to severe medical situations...glaucoma, tumors, heart problems, etc ad nauseum. Older birds, like us. Way over capacity, "and the end is not in sight". Problem is, we kinda have to take in the damaged birds (morally), but it's hard to find good responsible homes for them. Also, they bite.

Good on you.

Maybe there should be a place to put people who make poor decisions on animals then bail out because "it's not what I thought it would be". Idiots.

True. However, most of the recent arrivals are because someone died, or got too old and/or sick to care for them. One military PCS to Korea.

Judging from the internets and TV, it doesn't have to be much of something either.

Wish I had that Chicken McNugget and the money it sold for...

Let me know when you are taking in GOF's and I'll be right over...

Sent a donation that should buy a day's worth (maybe) of pellets. Keep up the good work.
