Now I am on a Spooky Tooth watching binge!

Anybody know what the "thing" is that's atop the Wurlitzer piano?

I like The Mirror.

My best guess for the box is a tube based tape echo-delay unit. What looks like a shallow cover on the top is common on these units, it covers the tape mechanism.

Note that behind the guitar player is Fender's version of a Leslie cabinet, a Vibratone.

George Harrison had one during the Let It Be era.

Computers will sometimes reboot when installing new software. Sometimes when you least expect it.

Uhhh...no. They never got a clear shot of it-of course. Looked like it was built into a case with the top off for 'playing'.

I think that this is the keyboard you are describing sitting on the Hammond. It could be a mini Wurlitzer electric piano.

Jeff was asking about this one on the piano. Tape echo.

When I did a small gathering of the Rick Faithful at my home in November 2009, a friend of mine bought the one that was at my local vintage/high-end guitar shop. I took the Faithful to check out the place and Jason bought the Vibratone (missing the name plate, sadly - the Vibratone, not Jason :D). Here he is in the basement with it during our jam, using my old early '70s Princeton Reverb Amp (not pictured) playing his (at the time, since moved on) ex-David Bowie 366/12.

Like the hotel luggage stand that the mixer is on.

The Ric string mute. Another contraption that didn't quite catch on.

Mr. Gates left quite a while back to create a philanthropic charity to atone for all the poor souls who gave their lives for his unscrupulous climb for world domination.

In Windows 10, if you type "Updates" into the search box, an update control panel will come up. You can schedule when your computer can update and whether or not you want the update to install. Finally, you can tell it to a) ask if you want to restart or b) schedule when to restart. If not much else Microsoft has learned a couple things in the last 40 years.

In my case, I wish they'd learn to leave 'well-enuff' alone.

Anymore with the young people computers are for work and for personal it's tablets and smartphones. Both have self-setting Operating Systems so the dummies don't have to know how to do a system restore or backup. It's the phone and thumb generation Z. I learned typing on an IBM Selectric and I'll be doggone if I'm going to use my two fat thumbs to type on a small screen. /rant.

Hell's bells and cockleshells, I don't even type(left index finger on 'shift', right index finger on keys). And I have a flip phone. Onliest computer thingy is my all-in-one HP PC.
EDIT: I think it's telling me I have an update available. Or that my fly's open.

An electric? You got to learn on an electric? Get a load of the rich guy here! :roflmao:
I don't even remember what brand the (manual) typewriters were in my typing class. Royal, maybe, or Remington. That was one loud classroom.

Thanks, I'll look into that...
I just finished searching thru something called the "Device Manager" to find out what kept waking my PC up alla time after I assigned it to sleep mode... Greatly annoying; I couldn't keep the power and screen off at all w/o completely powering everything down. Turns out it was unwanted activity on the internet that was doing it! So I got rid of that by unchecking a box next to the internet controller that said "Allow this device to wake computer from sleep"!! Now I guess I'll have to set this too-friggin-independent thing up so it asks me before doing any updates!
The robots are winning...
