Sometimes 'fake' news is put out with a desired purpose though...campaigns of mishandling disinformation have been slung on populations forever, just never with such widespread immediate impact as today.

And face it, with people's egos being at all time highs, no one likes to acknowledge they were had, so .... the continues. Statistics lie, sales people embellish, all of it

Not a sidebar at all: I won't buy a piece of any music gear unless I have a specific name, usually a phone number, to address questions... this has just been a person policy for decades, after having gotten burned by misinformation, fake news if you will, from a certain manufacturer (rhymes with Slackie) and their digital studio mixing console. Since that fiasco, when I buy, I get a responsible person who I can at least ask questions, one I know won't look me square in the eye and boldly lie, like the people rhyming witH Slackie did...

Which, not to embarrass anyone, is why I'm pretty sure I can trust Mesa products again.

Well...just through reading some EPIC history of our tools. The SWR/Eden connection, how the Bassman evolved, etc...all of this combined with long standing things such as the Telecaster, Strat, Ibanez TS808, actual transformers for direct to console instead of modeling...

grumpy old men made things no one has been able to match, replicate, or even get close to.
