Or just pick up an iSub and be done with it. :)

My wife’s Mac is an original IMac and we bought her the iSub. Together they sound great. I’m in the process of trying to get her onto a more modern machine but she is resisting change. Maybe her old one has to have an “accident” to ease things along. LOL

I saw them in 82 and 83 in Memphis. Both great shows.

The amp cover was 0.0635" galvanized steel, 16ga (1/16"). Dimensions were 8 3/16" X 24 ⅞" (part number 732307-1). Check your dimensions as there were revisions.

Any thickness that fits and won't rattle is fine. I use the aluminum flashing like you have as a shield, it works well. I often use it when a chassis sits on a cabinet or os bolted to the inside top. In the case of the V4B, the open end is at the top and there is a space between the chassis and underside top of the cabinet. One reason why they bolt on a cover plate.

They run strips of masking tape along each long axis. There is the possibility that the cover can touch some of the switch contacts so it provides some insulation. I use a PTFE electrical tape, 3M 156007 (Invalid Link Removed). The mounting sheetmetal screws are 6/32" X ⅜" (Invalid Link Removed).

I want in for sure - I just found you guys and I like the thread sofar.

Been playing for 46 years and still an older PV rig and a precision. AND I CANNOT STAND HORNS/TWEETERS IN BASS AMPS.

Please let me in - with people who understand.

Sorry they took the whole thing, Ken. But you're smart enough to have a backup! Sounds like you're recovery will be short. That's good. If they are mimics, I wonder how much the kidney went for on e-bay.
