Oh and i am saying it now.. cuz i know that i will be in bed later! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Happy New Year good friend!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Also to all the other GOF friends. And if I have to, I wish happiness to the foes as well :laugh::laugh:

I celebrated New Years Eve day by laying around, procrastinating, and ignoring my home obligations and honey do list until 5. Then I decided it was too late to do anything. Then decided I really should do something productive. So I went out and got a 12 pack and a huge beef slab for pot roast. I put it on the stove and started it. My wife has a lot of veggy cutting to do for her part. I have a loot of beer to drink. I have no idea how to cook or what time to wake her up. Roast said boil 3 to 3 1/2 hours. I guess I should wake her up an hour and half before. That should give 5 minutes to wake up and relax to a cup of coffee, then 25 minutes to chop and toss them in at the right time. Most importantly, if gives me time to get smashed so it won't really matter what mood this puts her in :roflmao::laugh:

What i have noticed is, that in part you have two groups when it comes to him.. one says his demeanor was in part due to him being badgered, the other being because of the narrow views and gruff presentation..

Man, you should see some of the older threads attacking Andy. One resurfaced and all the experts said he was dishonest and a bad person for not having the documentation for a defunct company that was already re-sold and no old docs came with it. Did you know, a larger corporation should only buy one that run itself into the ground as an act of charity? They should not take the good, positive and productive people, tooling and information to make a product that's viable in the market, noooosireeebob. They should hire all the employees, especially the unproductive lazy asses, make and sell everything at a loss and just subsidize that division. For all the stuff out of production for 20 years, they should buy used, reverse engineer it, draw up new documentation to give away, and train their entire staff to support it. The janitor should at least memorize the entire obsoleted product line in case he answers the phone on a Sunday.

I can only imagine, seeing how some act around this site..

20161231_202211.jpg I had no idea how hard of work and stressful cooking could be. Every beer I look at it, wonder what I should do. Flipped it over once. Then get another beer and relax.

OK, wife will get off easy. She got up, asked me what the hell I was doing, so I showed her the roast. She said that's going to take a long time to get soft. Huh-huh-huh, my meat don't get soft easy :D So I dumped a bag of frozen stew veggies in. So when I poke the roast with my finger and it springs back it's done? Geez, that hurts! Cooking's painful too! Noodles said cook 12 to 20 minutes depending on size. Bought the pack with a horse and buggy thinking it's Amish and has to be good. They don't know what size noodle they sold me?

I don't mind helping folks out, but I'm not cool with folks twisting words in ways that makes them feel it's ok to accuse me of being dishonest, or inaccurate. That's the kind of stuff marketing and customer service folks get paid to deal with.

For almost a year now, I've been searching @agedhorse and reading his posts. I'm amazed at how many times people who have been here a long time give him a flack of pea diet cow pod BS over what he says and fight him tooth and house shoe nail. Newbies I get. Others should know better. IDK why other people of similar skills don't catch the flak. Probably because he says it like it is. Society has no place for outward blunt honesty and could give a rats ass about character, integrity and truth these days. People want to be told what they want to hear... lies. And they want something for nothing from those who have worked their asses off to get where they are. Wow, I guess I do get why Andy gets pooped on for no reason. Just lie and tell them everything will be OK if they do it their way and tell them there's no reason to worry about safety. Bad Andy. Your a bad, bad man.

Very, very bad.

Some of the other pros have received the same treatment, it's. It exclusive to me.
I kind of get the same thing in my profession. People constantly try to argue their home network junk against a robust enterprise network with many, many of endpoint devices and gov/regulatory security requirements. I've had to go as far as to cut their internet access for streaming music and using gmail in a secure lab.

That is because folks can't handle the truth, they would rather have it all Fake News, False reality. A misdemeanor demeanor, propped by lies and fairy tales, though that they would make you believe it all to be true! Information dissemination seems to be the norm. There not happy if it isn't any other way! Of course, i could just say that it is easy to be combative because they are hiding behind a keyboard for the most part.

Hmmm.. you know, some supervisors forget where they come from, or how they got where they are today!

Fake news has been responsible for a variety of poor decisions. Orson Wells made a social experiment out of this with his "War of the World's" broadcast.

These days, many people feel that they are entitled to the answer they want to hear rather than the truth. Actually, "these days" might not be so accurate.
