And who wouldn't want a "feeler gauge"? Important is important...
Feeler gauge? I need to try that. I still use an old school Mood Ring to measure my emotions...

A gig tools arms race is the furthest thing from my mind.
A-way back in the time of band, convincing us to show up on time and prepared is our director's raison d'etre. Of course there is That One Guy who is so totally disorganized all the time it's a wonder how he will ever get through life. Reasonably certain he did, didn't keep tabs.
How did you get him in the oven?Meatloaf just went in the oven. Corn and steamed taters for sides. .
No arms race, just the stuff to fix what breaks. I've had a tuning key break on the Carvin on a gig. Had to swap the key on the C string to somewhere else.
I'll help load in, and load out, and set up, and break down, but look for me at the bar while there's fixit stuff going on. I finally figured out how. Much sure the lion is FULLY sedated before you try to trim his mane.Ain't see no reason for two people to bring the full monte when one is so eager, and ableI'll help load in, and load out, and set up, and break down, but look for me at the bar while there's fixit stuff going on.
Lion's mane is still in season at the growers' market, along with oyster mushrooms. The lion's mane is only tricky to cook if you don't know how. Lots of benefits, apparently. But not on Meatloaf.

Well, you have probably been around enough to see others not prepared for a gig and what could happen during said gig.
My favorite unprepared story is with a group where I knew the guys well. Their drummer shows up to a festival like gig and forgot cymbals and stick bag. Geez... Well, I can't and won't carry cymbals for anyone!![]()
Yeah, there’s a reason checklists exist… oh, you said “drummer.” Nebbermind.Well, you have probably been around enough to see others not prepared for a gig and what could happen during said gig.

Don't blame me because my life is an open book ... a Jane Austin book. Nothing much happens, people get upset over nothing, I can only remember like six names, never leave my neighbourhood, have lots of secrets for no good reason, there's a lot of confusion, the gentleman of good fortune must be in need of a wife
All I'm saying is I am the very last person anyone wants to fix things. Won't go well for anyone, 100 percent ironclad guarantee. There are so many people totally skilled at fixing things, and happy to fix things, and I'm good with that. I don't fix things, and I don't paint, and I don't garden.
