I always that that his name was Pepé Le Pew because he was a skunk, not because he was French... Huh. You learn something new everyday.
We did this for several years - or older son even played in a regional "World Series" and hit the winning walk-off grand slam - and the coaches didn't nominate him for recognition, but the tournament dir saw the Daddy Ball award and overrode the coach... of course it end up just being more drama... But like you we are now on the boat most weekends.. Bass and boat - makes me less of "Grumpy Old Fart"

I like skunks, they eat a lot of bad things in the garden. Only problem is, you don’t want them living in your yard.
Unfortunately, I ran over one on a back country road. He ran out onto the road at the wrong time, there was nothing that I could do, the car passed over him. I can still see the look of fear on the poor creature’s face when he saw me. There was no real smell.
A BMW that was tailgating me got the skunk with his tire, guts everywhere. I can still see his wife in the passenger seat yelling at him.
