Interesting to note that using stock photographs started in 1920 as a way to save money. Imagine having to pay a photographer a cut of every book sold for shooting the cover. Stock was a partner in an agency, Magnum Photos, still in business today: Invalid Link Removed. The industry generates billions in sales.

Many of the old Greyhound/Trailways terminals had a diner area while waiting for one's connection-bus or otherwise. Lotta old movies had scenes shot in them.
