Well, shoot. Mrs GT and I missed an opportunity to influence who the new neighbors will be. The neighbor's house has been open house the past couple of afternoons. We should have kept an eye out and if we saw someone we didn't like we could have taken an "argument" out the front door. Then look at the lookers and say "What the hell are you looking at?". I had also thought about putting the scooter out front and let it run at a fast idle for a couple of hours while doing burnouts in the Corvette, top down, and AC-DC blasting on the stereo.

Nah. Hope they get their price on the house and we get good neighbors.

To scare off perspective buyers, all you have to do is invite all your scooter buddies over for a visit.

Not to change the subject but, I watched a pretty good documentary in PBS yesterday. Called "Icon: Music Through the Lens". I thought the photography buffs here might enjoy it. Pretty good sound track as well. Enjoy!

We now return to our regularly program....
I watched one about Queen and Brian May. Good stuff.

Sometimes people have lease breaking parties. The idea is to make a lot of noise so the landlord will break the lease. I once lived in a building where someone would wake everyone up at night with a loud 30 second stereo blast in the middle of the night. Another way to do this is to invite a band over to play. Landlords give in.

Someone I knew wanted to break his lease. When they wheeled an SVT through the lobby, the concierge made a call and they got the lease broken. The power of the bass won the day without even playing a note.

Musician neighbours aren’t always desirable.

It's been my weekend for missing fish. I hooked one so large tonight that I thought my lip-less crank-bait was hung on a log. When I began to move my boat ahead to dislodge it, my line started moving. That grandma or grandpa bass got off & swam merrily on its way. Later on, I was moving the boat and noticed my line moving. An intense battle with a five-pound bass ensued, ending with the bass shaking the hook right next to the boat. It was fun and got the adrenaline pumping.

... ... The whole point of this doctor stuff is so we are well enough not to see doctors. That's how it works, right? Right?

No, it's not about them. They are a means to an end. They don't have to worry about job security. The whole point of the doctor thing is so we're, hopefully, well enough to see the people and do the things we wanna do, or a reasonable facsimile thereof.
