The music on some of those rides was loud as well. Locals that got taken on by the midway told me that a lot of the full time workers that set up the rides were drug addicts.
A "lot of drug addicts" fulltime workers?? -Just how did the 'locals' determine this?
Were they themselves selling drugs to all these full time workers?
-Addicts don't usually wear signs on their backs.... Sounds like small 'mean town' :poop: to me!

Those that worked there saw what went on at the after hours parties. A friends brother joined them on the road. He fell for the lifestyle and it didn’t end well. It put a lot of stress on their family.

Some anemics used to be told to eat liver.
I usta luv liver and onions until I found out livers are used to clean the blood...
Now I just ~like~ livers and onions. :cautious:
But I still luv chopped liver! :hyper:
Onions too... On anything... Or everything... :hyper:

But chopped liver and onions should only be ate in inexpensive Greek diners or Jewish delis. Anywhere else and you're just wasting time and ruining your palate... :rollno:

Kidney is another one of those filter organs. They need to be well soaked before cooking.

I’ll be having a tomato sandwich on rye every day for lunch till the season is over.

My wife's been making killer rye bread a couple of times a week during That Thing time. We get various amazing krauts from the maker a few blocks away and our own tomatoes are just coming red. Good times!

And if that is one of the options, it is HIGHLY superior to iron pills. I got put on them once after I lost a chunk of my GI tract to Crohn's (45 cm ileum, ileocecal valve, cecum, 3 cm colon; experimental end-to-end anastomosis; the joy!). That surgery left me with bile salt diarrhea, so when I say that iron pills will constipate the heck out of you, LOOK OUT!

Learn to love/like/tolerate liver. As with all things, some are better than others.

Or you can spend good money on my friend's specialty, foie gras. He's currently executive chef at a new French restaurant in Chicago, Marchesa. He grew up in Bergerac, which explains his specialty. He now offers a chicken liver paté, which is ABFAB! When he had his own bistro-style restaurant on Clark (Cyrano's) for 20 years, he usually had an appetizer with 3 different house-made patés. I always started with that.

You'll find something that works for you.

Just watch out for those f'ing iron pills. :poop: NOT
