And if that is one of the options, it is HIGHLY superior to iron pills. I got put on them once after I lost a chunk of my GI tract to Crohn's (45 cm ileum, ileocecal valve, cecum, 3 cm colon; experimental end-to-end anastomosis; the joy!). That surgery left me with bile salt diarrhea, so when I say that iron pills will constipate the heck out of you, LOOK OUT!
Learn to love/like/tolerate liver. As with all things, some are better than others.
Or you can spend good money on my friend's specialty, foie gras. He's currently executive chef at a new French restaurant in Chicago, Marchesa. He grew up in Bergerac, which explains his specialty. He now offers a chicken liver paté, which is ABFAB! When he had his own bistro-style restaurant on Clark (Cyrano's) for 20 years, he usually had an appetizer with 3 different house-made patés. I always started with that.
You'll find something that works for you.
Just watch out for those f'ing iron pills.NOT

Had Ponce de León truly found the Fountain of Youth, I estimate the probability he would share the discovery with the rest of the world is zero.
Ha! He was 82 when he died!I think Ponce did share it with someone....Dick Clark....

They used to bark, if you mess up, you clean up. Nothing worse than projectile vomit flung from a spinning ride.

I'll wave at you as you're landing! I have my appointment with the French visa office downtown Chicago Wednesday. Flight to Paris 7 August, so I will have to PLEAD and pay any and all expedited charges to get it back from the consulate in D.C. by the 6th.By some mean chance today I bought paté and come home to read this. That was a purchase after the doctor's visit. (I won't eat truffles because of the cruelty to dogs and pigs part.) Yes I'm good with foul's liver, but not necessarily goose (and stay away from it because of the truffles thing). So how about that tenderloin stuffed with mushrooms and chicken livers?

Hard pass on beef and calves liver. Can't get it past my nose. Love monkfish liver.
Right, then, the doctor. That's a five day stretch since she sent me to the horsepistol. The downside is I stay on blood thinners. The upside is, I liveand travel to Chicago Tuesday
Those that worked there saw what went on at the after hours parties. A friends brother joined them on the road. He fell for the lifestyle and it didn’t end well. It put a lot of stress on their family.
I had liver just last week.
Kidney is another one of those filter organs. They need to be well soaked before cooking.

Lolololol like! Muchas gracias! You skipped a step. After cooking, place in trash.![]()

My dog loved kidney stew. I made it just for him.
