I don’t know whether I should be more shocked that it happened…OR that it took so many years for it to happen!
My Bride and I were outside, surveying the estate…Lots of potted plants in the driveway…some of them are happy n healthy…a few, lesser so.
I put my beer down on the tailgate so I could rearrange a pair of the containers…turned back,
sipped my beer, and Damned if there wasn’t a Yellowjacket inside the can, and Damned if he didn’t hit me Hard!
Being one who follows directions, I had a Benedryl in me in less than a minute…ice on it a minute later.
6 hrs later…hurts like Hell!
I swear I can still feel it…
I never bought an album or 45 by them but I did enjoy hearing their songs on the radio. Another was "Lazy Day".
Good pop music IMHO.

Interesting... i grew up having heard the rumor that Ed Sullivan had been a successful boxer, which looked believable to me from how he hung his head. But the wiki didn't mention anything about that!

What is it with these low flow plumbing products. It must be the law that you can’t have more than a light drizzle when taking a shower.
A while back I bought a Moen hand held shower head. I wanted the equivalent of a super soaker. I bought the highest flow rate model available. It was the only one, all the others are low and lower flow. Brought it home, it was pretty bad. Turned out that the hose end fitting was acting as a water restrictor. Drilled it out and it was way better.
Last weekend I bought another shower head, this one mounts on the pipe coming out of the wall. Bought the highest flow rate, again it turned out to be pretty low flow. Looked inside, found a restrictor insert and ripped it out. Works like a charm now.
