We had to settle for the poor man's pocket rocket because we're about to spring for an addition to our home. That's going to cost. But we get to grow old in a nicer home, so that's something I guess. Would have been better to have done it a decade earlier, but whatever. All I can think is it's going to be four months during which cutting vocal tracks or anything with open mics is a questionable endeavor.

I'd call it the "way better gas mileage than GT's Vette Pocket Rocket" :D :D :D

Finally! TheMaartian has landed in France, now to be known as LeMaartien! Ha ha ha.

Congrats!

Make sure you practice saying “omelette du fromage” so you’ll be able to order and eat breakfast. I believe this bit ‘o wisdom originated with either Steve Martin or Steve Miller.

Omlette du fromage is from Dexter's Laboratory

I thought that Steve Martin predated Dexter by about 4 decades.

He had a routine about French where it dawned on him that EVERY word in French is different than English, “It’s like they have a different word for everything!” When he visited there he practiced say omelette du fromage over and over so he could eat something. When he ordered his omelette in a french restaurant he said, “She brought me a shoe with cheese on it.”

It was so long ago that the above is all I remember from it. I bet one could find it on the tube.

This is what I'm after-a 2012 or 2013 IS-F 5.0L 416HP V8 8 speed auto. Damn things are pricey. But not like a 'Vette. EDIT---actually, the pricing is comparable.

Do the contractors work during the night? ;)

Steve definitely has a way with language. Remember the name of the hotel in L.A. Story? El Pollo Del Mar.
