I ordered some unsoldering stuff from amazon at noon today. Tracking says on the truck for delivery two hours later. I'll believe it when the driver knocks at the door.

The truck is in Seattle, it may take a while.

Which one will work during a power failure? :smug:

Over the course of my career, 35 odd years, I must have had every flavor of 'lectric solder/desolder station there was. I deduced the electrics are more trouble than they're worth. I spent more time cleaning the tips out than I did working. YMMV

Got no use for peeps who eat gluten-free for any reason other than a medical issue. Use almond flour. Pat yourself on the back. Then beatch about the water crisis in the western U.S. Bah, humbug.

One line from a PAESTA (Pennsylvania Earth Science Teachers Association) podcast is especially worth noting.

"To grow one almond requires 1.1 gallons of water, and to grow a pound takes 1,900 gal/lb. The crazy thing about that is that walnuts, hazelnuts, pistachios, and cashews all use roughly the same amount of water to grow as well, but it is the almond which is in such high demand at this time."

I worked with a person who said they had to eat gluten free. They had food delivered and made sure everyone knew about the gluten thing and how they had to get special food and how great it was. lol.

I tasted a gluten free pasta once...once.

Right behind you at the buffet line. Might sound weird, but there's a Chinese-Mexican buffet on 19th Ave, a block south of Bell Ave. in north Phoenix that's really pretty good!

There is an Italian restaurant in Brownfield, TX that also serves catfish. I need to talk to my doc and see if there is a treatment for cognitive dissonance. The catfish was pretty good, by the way.
