Hi guys- tour has started! Get up at 4:30am for a 6am TV live shoot, another media event at 7am, then horse chores and a nap until the "mane event starting at 6:30 ending at 9pm with a meet & greet. Starting to feel my age!

But if I remember correctly, younger hurts less?
Younger certainly came with a sense of invincibility and resiliency that seems to have allowed me to survive things I 'm now smart enough to know I probably shouldn't have done.
Corollary: If I'd known I was going to live this long, I'd have taken better care of myself. :)

All done, pulled the anchor right into her segment intro via chariot! Turns out I had worked some PacSat gigs with her cameraman. Production is a pretty small world ;)

My brother the drummist (3 or 4 years younger than I am) is playing every weekend with a band again. I would love to check out a show, but they start when I am ready to go to bed. I just can't stay up late anymore without throwing off my sleep schedule... :rollno:

I gave up on a sleep schedule a while back. I have to get up for work around 4 am every day. Then I get a Saturday night gig running from 9 to 1. Load out and travel time gets me in around 2 to 2:30 am. Then some chill time before I can turn it all off and fall asleep around 3 to 4 am. Oh wait , this is when I'm usually getting up. Thank goodness for naps and Unisom. Sleep schedule? Faggettaboutit.

My wife tell me that at times I have been known to nod off on stage - all while still playing! :D

As for my recent “misfortune” it’s best left behind us. All has been resolved and the bottom line is that I made things worse with my anger.
I learned to stand up sleeping during guard duty in the Army!

Bro @BassmanPaul it's a great day when we learn from our own experiences. I'm actually going to a counselor myself because as I've gotten older I found I am less patient and tolerant (especially of whippersnappers) than I used to be. But after hitting 65 I feel I'm having more revelations in my life. Typcial for me, day late and a dollar short. I wish I had these revelations 20 years ago! LOL

@Ken Morgan I'm there with you. bro @BadExample don't stay away too long! Bro @BassmanPaul whats up????? Hey @Passinwind and @agedhorse ! Hi! :D

Yo Will, wassup? I have my first gig of the year tonight -- probably something like 2 1/2 hours worth with maybe an hour or so of arranged material. Just a two piece too, nowhere to hide!

Now if that counsellor looked like Diana Troi so would I! :D
Ahem... she is rather cute. Kinda makes the hour very pleasant for me. ;) Truth be told, as I'm getting older, I don't want to be irritable like I was when I was younger. You know, there should be some kind of global award for making it to 65! But I know being irritable is like poison to my body. Plus my company's paying for me to see the cute young lady! :smug:
