Outdoor gig tonight. Sweated my *** off. Then had to go to work after. (I work nights) All appendages accounted for as well as two bottles of gatorade.

We’ll be dropping by a country fair today. They have a young lady working in a kissing booth to raise money for a charity. This donkey just loves meeting people.
Hoping that the corn is in season this weekend. I’m thinking more likely next weekend though. It’s already a week or two behind. The snow hung around longer this year.
Need to pick up a new Samsung T5 SSD for project backups.

Only in the country do kissing booths feature farm animals.
Donkey’s and people get along well together. Dogs and donkeys, not so well. Some farms use donkeys to protect their livestock from predators such as coyotes, I’ve seen one even hearding sheep.

Checking in. Eight fingers , two thumbs , ten toes , one nort , and two cannuchies. Yup , all appendages accounted for.
So the band leader from my old band called and wanted to get the band back together after a year and a half of health issues. It was a great band and he had good connections so we all got on board. He even lined up two gigs for this month which I blacked out for my other band. Two days before the first gig he has a total relapse from his health problems. Both gigs cancelled. The other band had two weeks not scheduled due to member vacations. Not sure if a month off is a good or a bad thing. I really like performing and I can always use the extra few bucks but I am getting increasingly lazy in my old age. I guess I could use the time to practice up a bit. Wait...what...did somebody say "Bloody Marys?"

I am certainly not the oldest here. However, at times, I feel like it. I started working fulltime when I was 14 years old. Since that time, I have never had a single day of unemployment. Conservatively guessing, I have averaged 60 hours per week over the last 48 years. Even during my last year at UC, I took 18 hours per quarter (12 hours was considered a fulltime student) and also worked a fulltime job and 2 part time jobs. That means I have done at least 72 years of fulltime work since the tender age of 14.
Moreover, I became president of the company I work for in 1999 when the then current president -- one of my best friends -- died in an auto accident. Since 1999, we grew the company from $2.25mm of revenue per year to $186mm of revenue per year.
At this point, simply put, it has been enough. It is time for Mrs. 12BitSlab and me to move on to another stage of life. I am planning on writing a book, doing more travel with my wife, doing some independent consulting, and attempt to find a jazz quartet/quintet that I can play with.

Checking in, present. Had my disc injection Monday. Takes about two weeks to determine effectiveness. So far, no help. Hoping for better next week.
Checking in. No gigs this weekend(off season in FL),1/2 the band on vacation so visiting daughter in Orlando. Everything still attached and working though I do have some advice re using a weed whacker while wearing shorts-DON'T!

Here, but "present" may be a little optimistic right now. Drinking a decaf latte, AKA why bother. Four hours with very minimal breaks on upright last night, no blisters or tweaked thumbs. Leg cramps, weird hangover from coffee stout. Another day of hiding in front of the AC coming up, although today is the supposed cool day of the heat hit, only forecast to 95.

It's been a few years since I had one of those fun injections, but I seem to recall for me I got some relief a few days afterwards. Then the relief increases for several days or maybe a few weeks and levels off.
I'm getting more and more nerve pain, so I might be going back for more. They worked well for me.

Since you brought it up, I teach all of my horses to kiss. It's part of training to cues and gets them focused.
I have a horse named "Big Gray" (for obvious reasons) and she's my main horse got the theatrical entertainment showsvand she's a great kisser. It's all fun and games... until the tongue comes out
