Seriously, how many of you guys are playing blues or country? As I got older, that's the work that keeps popping up. That stuff and really hard charts at church. Kind of curious - what are the rest of the older guys playing, and what sorts of venues are you now dragging gear into?

Still playing blues, rock, country, metal.....oldest song currently "No Particular Place to Go", newest "What I Got".

Sorry full head of hair, no receding and maybe 15% grey (on the top of my head anyway)
Mix of corporate events, weddings, early evening slots at bars and church for me. Mostly country and blues. Heavy on the corporate events the last few years.
I nominate this lady as an honorary member. I see no evidence that she's a bass player but she sure is a grumpy old fart. An endearing quality if there ever was one!

I feel old, does that count? 40 in a couple days, have been playing bass for 25 years. I should be a better player by now.
The first time I tried playing a micro class D amp, I was all pissed off that I had to go find my reading glasses just to adjust the knobs. Grumpy, indeed!
