If I don't get a number soon, things are going to get ugly.

See what I did there?:D

BTW, my first bass amp was a Music Man 130HD that I bought new. So, I'm old enough. :bassist:

I'm almost 61, have dementia, walk with a cane because my knees and hips are shot and haven't shaved since Jan 28, 1978. I'm in constant pain. I 'm a "right-of-Rush-Limbaugh-conservative" and don't care what anyone else thinks.

I learned years ago that life is too short to tolerate a-holes.

I earned this club.
I'm 63, my mother has dementia, my knees and hips still work, and I shave when I get laid.
I'm in constant allergy season, fiscally conservative, and also don't care what anyone else thinks.

I am learning to not argue with fools.
They bring you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

#45 hasbeen Honored to have you here ;)

My "first rig" was a 50 watt Newcomb class A school PA amp I reworked and a 12" EV 3/4 bass reflex HiFi cab. Worked nicely in Jazz Band latter.

OK Jon how do I reference the GOF club in my posts. I simply can't remember. :(

hasbeen has you covered!

go to "my talk bass" and then "edit signature".

Saw a kid in my yard yesterday. Chased him down and planted his face in the snow. (Let that be a warning to you, CLPeavey! Some of us old bassturds are tougher than we look.)

Not even close to being old enough. My third real amp was a brand new 130HD! The first was a used blackface Bassman. 50 watts and a rectifier tube...worthless for bass guitar.

Played my first gig (at Dick Grass's Teenage Nite Club) 50 year's ago - I was 14 years old. Never stopped playing.
Unindited felon (ah the 70's). Bald, retired, a little crippled, and grinning every day. C&S 27 years.
1000 watt "practice" amp (I like lots of headroom).

"You call that crap music???!!!! I'll show you REAL music!!!!!" To my 13 year old daughter as I put on a Neville Brothers CD.

Am I in?
