Good news, Carey is getting better and it looks very good we might leave Friday or Saturday. They are making special medical arrangements because she'll need a couple follow-ups in Sitka. Again, I can't stress how wonderful the staff at UW Medical Center are.

I think I had better think of something safer, lest someone post a short arm photo, infected or not, and end or suspend of Great Thread of GOFdom.

I'm staying busy with work related activities and the typical round of Fall gigs Will. We played a multi-agency FBI-led task force reunion last weekend and got to see many old friends and play music...win/win. All in all fairly routine times, but that certainly beats the drama folks in Florida and their neighboring Gulf states are having to deal with.

I hope all is well with you and your bride. I'm assuming life isn't quite back to normal for you guys yet, but probably looking a lot more normal each day.

I will probably be back on Sunday after Carey is settled in. We still have some home medical care but we're definitely out of the woods.

When something like this happens it made me step back and really take another look at my life and I realized what's really important to me-- my bride, as @Al Kraft kindly calls her, and she is all of that. It's why I work, why I have a home, why I strive. To provide her with a modest home and spend all my quality time with her.
