Have some bits and bobs to take care of this weekend.

There are a few oil change places on the street that had a lot of vehicle dealerships on it. I always smirk when a drive by one that does oil changes and sells fried chicken.
Hey Bro., I'm in charge of this roll call and we don't care... get your ass in line for chow!

:D just funnin' around of course.

POP TALL FOR ROLL CALL ALL YOU POLYWOGS AND SHELLBACKS!

Form a column of watch sections!
Port watch forward!
Starboard watch, stand fast!
MARCH!
Starboard watch, column half right, MARCH!
Starboard watch, column half left, MARCH!
Port watch, MARCH!

Get in line heals to toes (or nuts to butts if you prefer) and get ready for some fine Navy Chow.

Roll Call! All unaccounted for by Sunday are AWOL and shall answer to the Great Neptune Rex, ruler of the main, and shall be recorded forever by Davey Jones, his Majesties Scribe.

Bear and Navy Bean Soup night!

This Son of Neptune is present! Please, sir, may I have another?!

CPL Hanbury here and mostly accounted for. Feel like I've been on a three week toot. I got a date on a plane with a cute girl tomorrow afternoon. Such a happy ending to a long story.

Friends went into our house to clean the house top to bottom, put in bars on the bathtub for Carey. This was much needed for her return. Looking forward to us sitting in our own chairs and watching our own TV! :D

I've never been so clean 'til I put the bar in my shower!

Now I think I need a handrail, too!

King Neptune Rex has granted you Liberty until your wife is returned to full health and you are able to work. After that, you shall board the next available vessel destined for N.W. Indiana, and report for duty.

Hey @G-Dog thanks for the ask. Carey reached a point of almost normal today and she was practicing how to ride a wheelchair to the airport. :) But we're looking at two more days at least, leaving on Thursday because I forgot to pack Carey's ID and wallet and we have to have that FedEx'ed to the hospital!
Carey is trying to eat today and ate a little this morning. Hopefully home before you know it!
Thanks GOF's for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers.

Have a safe and uneventful trip Will.

@agedhorse do you recall when the ML200 was taken out of production?

(no one blaming anyone for killing amps here. She's alive and well :D Just like 1000's of other discontinued products)
The ML-200 started life as the ML-135 back in the beginning of 1999 and evolved to the ML-200 in early 2001 and was current through about 2009 or maybe even 2010, a good 10 year history.

You can't get rotten distortion out of it. All knobs literally dimed, both PUP's dimed, active bass boost dimed, and even with a WHPL to further kick up the signal to the input. Pretty amazing. That with an 8 ohm 15 on one of the 4 ohm outputs. Perfect for my planned use.

I find that balancing on the edge, weaving in and out of distortion isn’t a bad thing in a mix. It can add a sense of urgency to the song.

Rotten distortion though isn’t a good thing.

Sorry shipmate, I'm holding out till Mid Rats and going for the sliders and bug juice!
I am sorry, Sir. You outrank me, but in this case I have positional authority for this Roll Call, vested by the Honorable CPL Will, under the power of Neptune Rex, and while I must treat your with the respect you deserve, I am in command and you shall follow my orders in accordance with Naval Regulations and Maritime tradition. Therefore, I respectfully order you to get your ass in line with everyone else for some fine Navy Chow.

Of course, if you choose to disregard this authority, enlisted always have a way. I can always call on the resident TB medic, @99Z3 and have him pull you out of the ranks for a short arm inspection, as he did for the @biguglyman and there is no curtain when you:
"Skin it and wring it..."

:D :D :D

I like distortion, but look at the age of this thing:

I didn't go in with any expectations as to how it would sound cranked up this way. Breakup was very soft and it took hitting the strings really hard to get there. BTW: I think Andy for the HPF on that one. I think I could have gotten into trouble without it :D

Did anyone suggest that the caps need changing?
