Have a Happy New Year my fellow Grumpsters. Just had shoulder surgery yesterday so I plan on having a grumpy New Year's Eve. Grumpity, grump, grump!

With SNOW actually falling and sticking to the ground in the Arizona SW desert, it may be a couple days to get my grump back on.

We were down there last year between the holidays. When we got back to Michigan we were greeted with snow and cold that didn't let up until March. Talk about grumpy.

We had the honor(?) of surpassing 100 year old records.

I've been to your part of the country. Must be 33 Celsius and a couple semi loads of chickens in a bad wreck nearby.

Son and Daughter in law are out here for two weeks so we went for a drive and snapped some pics. Met some people who remembered snow sticking to the ground 26 years ago but not this much. Temp never got over 35 today. WHERE DO I LIVE? Did I move and forget?

WTH?? Anyone know what that white stuff is? It is 33 degrees f at 9:30am?

Wow, I bet that you don't see snow too often. It's cold in the north east but all the snow has melted which is a very good thing. It's probably been 20 or 30 years that we didn't have snow till January.

I can't seem to find a grump anywhere. My son is home from college , He , Seahag and I are on vacation in Fla. Stayin with my folks and sis that I haven't see in six years and we are all getting along great. Went to the beach today and went swimming cause it was that hot. Stopped on the way back to the house for a couple of Bloody Marys and a dozen oysters , and we are all celebrating New Years here tonight. Nope , no grumps for me. Guess I'll have to wait till we get home for any grumps. I heard it was 22 degrees there this morning. Guess I won't be doing any swimming when I get back. Happy New Year everybody.

I fell asleep before 11:30
Just found out this flu bug put my father in law in the hospital for two days.

S'not my idea of a good time.

The annual flu shots did not include coverage for this bug which can easily morph into pneumonia.

Two days ago I was swimming in the Gulf of Mexico off the Florida coast. It was 77 degrees and the water was a tolerable 74. I got out of the water and walked across the street , sat down and had a couple of Bloody Marys and a dozen oysters. Life was perfect. Now , I,m sitting back at my house in Hagerstown after a 17 hour drive , it's 29 degrees outside , the mail box is so stuffed I can't get the mail out (will probably need plyers) and the dog pooped all over the floor while we were gone.
GET OFF MY LAWN , GET OUT OF MY NEIGHBORHOOD AND DON'T COME BACK.

Well , at least it's good to have my grump back......I guess.
