Some live to eat. I eat to live.![]()
Does he do bathrooms?Alex Lifeson is a painter...

Different hand positions and pressures. I have the same problem painting.Oddly enough, I have very weak wrists and if I try to paint for any length of time I end up in excruciating pain. Why I can stand for hours with a bass guitar under those same hands is a mystery for the ages. I actually love to paint and would do it more if I could.
A drummer friend of mine tells me that many drummers develop issues with their wrists and forearms becoming weak. I've sometimes wondered if holding my hands in playing position has messed up my wrists for other things. Who knows?Different hand positions and pressures. I have the same problem painting.

The local redneck sushi joint just asked my Friday night jam crew to come play there instead one Friday. I think they've more or less gotten out of the sushi biz now though. But still, who doesn't love bacon kimchi fried rice?
Well I have a special announcement to make that I'm too embarrassed to share with anyone but you GOF's. I got new partial uppers and lowers. I'm missing just enough teeth that they made me a set. These are not your mother's partials! They are amazing! They're very light but strong. The teeth look very real and the fit was done by a 3D computer modeling. It measured in millimeters and had a perfect picture of all the positions of where my teeth were and where the partials should be. Also the kind Dr. gave me a lightening kit. My teeth have grown a bit tan from years of office coffee drinking.
Going to the dentist now is nothing like going to the Public Health Service dentist 50 years ago. I remember one dentist slapping my head for flinching. They somehow felt entitled to be mean because we Natives were getting "free" dental care. It was because my parents were so da(mn) poor when we were young. Nevertheless fast forward 50 years. This PHS clinic is staffed by a bunch of young ladies that have the kindest hearts and such a tender touch when dealing with teeth. I'm so relieved-- please excuse the silliness but now I can eat corn and steak easier and not use my front teeth only for chewing.
It's astounding the computerized equipment they use in the dental clinic now. I saw a 3D rendering of my partials before they were even made! When they came in the dentist used hot air on them to make them pliable and they fit like they had always been there. The flesh colored material is so light and fits so tight. It's a small pleasure that no one but you GOF's, my wife, and the dentists know about! Sorry for the rant! /end rant.![]()
