I assume that Guinness on tap is the preferred format for flushing down the oysters. I’ve only tried it from a can with the widget in it.

In true dedication to the drink, assume that’s where the dog’s potential name stems from.

In true dedication to a drink, thinking more along the lines of Foamy rabies Foamy

"Guinness is good for you"

I took my pooches to a dog whisperer for evaluation. The two troublemakers were deemed "definitely not problem dogs". And "right things have been done". But, whereas one reacts to new things shyly, the other goes head-on and creates unwanted havoc. Rarely, but it has happened. So, the owners need to exercise caution.

In a way, I am glad to tell my wife this as the evaluation was exactly along my expectations. Now she has an expert opinion in addition to my gut feeling to go with.

The most valuable outcome was that we got a few hints how to train the dogs on walks. This is something I have neglected, lately.

As is usual, dog trainers train the owners.

Typically it’s the smaller one that’s the trouble maker.

For Sale: One set of Encyclopedia Britannica, nearly brand new.
Just got married. Wife/Husband already knows everything. :bag:

I remember the encyclopedia sales guy coming to the door. That and the vacuum cleaner guy. Then there was Tupperware and the Avon ladies. The dog used to pride himself in protecting his property.

They used to sell Funk and Wagnalls encyclopedias at the grocery store, offering one book a month. People joked about them on Laugh-In, “Look that up in your Funk and Wagnalls”. When Ed McMahon said it on Carson, it didn’t sound like funk. The one that pushed the broadcast censor’s limits the most was George Carlin with the seven words that you can’t say on tv. I won’t repeat them here.

Speaking of funk...they weren’t so bad in the old days.
