We go for sushi almost every week. Got turned onto it at Dong-Il-Jang, in Koreatown in L.A., in the mid 1980s.
There's one I know somewhere in SoCal. She's a spayed Kishu - a Japanese spitz, same breed as my dogs. She was rescued from a shelter in Georgia.
Sambi's in Downey.
Now we get fresh Icelandic salmon every month so we make our own.

Always said I will name my dog "Foamy".
I find myself able to eat very few things. Mostly been living on palak paneer and dal. Seeing my primary care doctor Friday for a routine checkup (thankfully).
Spinach is high in iron. I put it in soup.

What I look forward to in dining adventures are oysters and Guinness on the last Wednesday of the month. There's even an oyster menu so I can check off how many of which type to shuck. It's about my fav and, happily something that makes my body very happy in every way.
Well, I'll agree with the Guinness, you can have my portion of 'ersters'.
I assume that Guinness on tap is the preferred format for flushing down the oysters. I’ve only tried it from a can with the widget in it.

Ahhh...so nice! We have a favorite oyster joint, with their own dock on the northern Oregon coast. The owners are the perfect mongrels for this, Portuguese-Japanese-Americans. Hoping to get out there in the next week or two, while the whales are still trucking North To Alaska.
But as usual, if I want a stout, or most any beer flavor, there's a friend for that. I think we're up to six breweries within 10 minutes of my house now, which is kinda crazy considering how small the population base is. Still, Guinness is one of the very few imported taps I will hit occasionally. Although I tend to like the bottled version a little more.
