Get off my LAWN! "Grumpy Old Farts"

If you want to hear grumping, I was shoehorned into a small taxi today. The driver knew two speeds, full throttle and full brake. Turning a corner was steering hard left or hard right.

I long for a comfortable car and a proper driver. Like the limos that go to and from the airport. With them you don’t feel like you’re risking your life and if someone else is paying, it’s fine with me.

Crown Vic. They quit making them?

Saab cars are always pleasantly quirky to me. The truly quirky car I'd own in a heartbeat (if it could ever be counted on for a daily driver HA) is the Citroën SM.

One of my ex-boyfriends, with whom I am still in touch, drove a SAAB when I met him. During our two-year tryst, it was destroyed by a falling limb from a tree in his back yard during a major storm. He replaced it with a Volkswagen.

Ah, those were the days. I wish I had pictures of that car, but I don't.

The back wheel skirt and lines remind me of the Citroën. The seating seems a bit odd.

Lincoln Town Car works well.
I think the Crown Victoria became the Ford 500 and that became the Ford Fusion. I bought a 2013 Fusion when the model first came out, kind of wish I still had it, but it was one of the first off the line and had a ton of recalls on it. Nice car, though.

I used to own a Volvo from back when they were Volvo and not Ford-Volvo or someone else-Volvo. I could tell that Ford had taken a lot of Volvo tech and put that into the Fusion line. It's a pity they aren't going to sell sedans here in the US anymore. That was a pretty well-made car. Puts my current Japanese Honda Accord POS to shame.
