Poutine?
When I lived in Ontario they never ever called it poutine. And most of my friends passed on the curds, so chips and gravy it was.
I saw one at the Fair w/ all that and pulled pork. I was already stuffed but ooh that looked good.Dress it with cheddar cheese curds and Guinness gravy
My 'bitter half' is from WI-cheese(including curds)in/on pretty much everything.

The local dive that my neighbors run do all kinds of "loaded fries." I've not yet seen Guinness gravy, but I think it'd be an easy sell if I mention it to them. House-smoked brisket or smoked corned beef are on the menu frequently and figure prominently in the "loaded" aspect.

Lots of my wife's relatives live in WI, and I've visited a few times and seen the truth in that. Curds right from the source are a beautiful thing, and oddly enough, some of the best ones I've had were at Pike Place Market in Seattle.

It does, a bit too well actually. I don't hang in that joint too much (think pickled eggs and red beer), but the smoker is at their house and I can smell it pretty frequently. Dude does elk pastrami to kill for, and his smoked steelhead is amazing as well. It's pretty hilarious watching all the Boeing engineers leaving with to-go boxes at lunchtime. Especially since there's an uptown rib joint right across the street that nobody but tourists ever seem to go to more than once.
While we were in Liverpool the family went to an Indian Restaurant. Dorothy and I are not into that food but went along with everybody. I had a Curry with 'King Prawns’ and white rice. Dorothy went for a steak. I found that whatever was on my fork tasted just the same as any other forkful. It got old very quickly. The steak was terrible. Poorly cooked and full of gristle, yuck once more. For us it was a big fail but everyone else enjoyed their meals and their company made everything worthwhile.
We buy cheese directly from a co-op where they make it. If the curds don’t squeak when you chew them, they aren’t fresh. They’re nice to eat on their own.

It was oysters and Guinness Wednesday and all set to order when
when a friend rang and I finished my wee Guinness and was gone before the oyster bar opened. "toppers for the taters" on the menu there include Rosemary and Parmesan.
By some great fortune the same lemonade stand hosts bands

The corn fields were all prepped, fertilized, and planted this weekend. Ready in mid July. Some of the fields smelled a bit cowy when we drove by.
As I kid I milked cows on relatives farms. Udder cream is very good for people. We always have a jar on hand.
