Get off my LAWN! "Grumpy Old Farts"

I relic my things myself. The tee shirt I wear today is new to me in 1981. It gets "delicate cycle", and has a pinhole or two below the left shoulder that is probably the work of my cat (RIP). Oh yes a very clever earlier iteration of /me teaches the cat to ride on my shoulder. She just thinks it's wonderful and all is well and good until

until the inevitable moment when I step out of the shower and she wants a ride on my shoulder.

Hilarity ensues.

I don’t get relic’ing, never will. Life provides enough scars, I don’t have to intentionally inflict more for show.

There’s pride in keeping material things looking good. What breaks, I fix. I shine my shoes. Perhaps one fault is holding onto old things well beyond their intended service life. I hate spending money on myself.

and I've received a warning on this. not sure what the violation was, but I'll try to be better

The universe is forever changing in a scary way. In my you ger daze, I used to worry about this, and what’s beyond the stars. There are certain things that are well beyond our comprehension. We just have to accept them.
