I was not at Woodstock(yes, I'm the one)and I won't be at Area 51.This new trend of storm protesting gathers a lot of media attention.
They’re hoping to have a million sheep at Area 51 to overwhelm the security. Nobody seems to think for themselves anymore, they just follow the line and assimilate the talking points that they’re fed. Oh, and have a big party that someone else can clean up.
I doubt that many moms will let their spoiled children attend the event in the middle of the night. They’ll have to attend on social media.

I didn't realize we were restricted to talking about music and equipment. I thought miscellaneous meant just that-- everything but the kitchen sink! Sorry I can't help you with the IEM's because I'm a dinosaur and I really love external monitors. I'm sure I could adapt as I'm technically inclined due to my profession-- but I can't imagine not being able to have normal conversations onstage or hearing ambient noise because of my ears being plugged.hi fellow GOF's. I'm going to do something unprecedented in this group and ask an on-bass related question. I am the bass player on my worship team at church. we are looking to go with in ear monitors. we have 4 regulars guitar/vocal, key/vocal, drums/vocal and me. we do have others but that rotates. we are looking for a 4 channel setup that is easy and on the cheaper side (<1000). if figured we can use 1 floor monitor for any extra vocals. any advice would be great, well let me clarify, helpful advice. thanks guys and gals

Thanks Charlie. My lips are sealed! This thread isn't in Miscellaneous though, it's in Off Topic. And Off Topic is specifically not for musical topic related discussions, except when it is.![]()
