No problem with the meaning(s), just the pronunciation. Should be "fye-reh". Maybe the final"e" is silent, like the "x" in coffee.*W-I-D-E S-T-E-R-E-O reads bigger than wide stereo.
Fire is the process of combustion. F-I-R-E is what people yell to give the order to shoot or in a theatre. Events must dictate the meaning.
The 'cute one', of course.Hard to tell which one is Paul.
Yeah, but Hendrix would have sounded stupid singing "let me stand next to your fyr-reh."No problem with the meaning(s), just the pronunciation. Should be "fye-reh". Maybe the final"e" is silent, like the "x" in coffee.*
*one of my dad's favorite explanations
The local pronunciation of "fire" is "far."W-I-D-E S-T-E-R-E-O reads bigger than wide stereo.

With a nose and ear trimmer?
It's almost always high(70%+)in FL. I kinda chuckle when I see humidifiers advertised. I was watching a Cubs game one day when the commentators mentioned the "high" humidity(45%)in Chicago. I 'bout fell outta my chair. ("wanna trade?").We were at around 80% that day. Yeesh!
I grew up just south of Baltimore and spent my 20's in Washington DC. I have curly hair and there was absolutely no point in trying to straighten it because the humidity made short work of that effort. Standing in the shade and standing in the sun feel the same; it's hot and humid and your sweat does nothing to help you because you're soaked from what's in the air already.I've been a proponent of changing Missouri's name to Misery in the summer. The air gets pretty thick. You almost need a knife to slice it before inhaling. I have seen worse. A few years ago I spent a few summer days near the South Carolina beach (Edisto Island). I was surprised that the fish could tell the water from the air...
Maybe, that was the problem with all those "unsafe" Firebird X guitars Gibson crushed in the PR video?Maybe the final"e" is silent, like the "x" in coffee.*
You can do that. I use Aridzona to describe a certain state near So. Cal.I've been a proponent of changing Missouri's name to Misery in the summer.
In my case, it's more of a mixed curse.Curly hair is definitely a mixed blessing.

I have a headless Cort in a natural oiled finish. It’s a lot like a baseball bat...or maybe more correctly, a cricket bat. Also had a transistorized Univox practice amp with one fifteen in the 70’s. It’s long gone.
I just hate it in the movies when they yell, "fire at Will!" Sheesh, what did I ever do???W-I-D-E S-T-E-R-E-O reads bigger than wide stereo.

Cantaloupe with blueberries will be my Sunday breakfast.
Have taken a liking in late afternoons to a double espresso poured over vanilla ice cream. Its health benefits are primarily mental health benefits.

My guess(opinion?)is that if you ate 1(oh, what the hell, 2 or 3 )of these every morning, it could be a problem. As an occasional treat, go for it.[same goes for Krispy Kreme. Mmmmm, Donuts!]There's a particularly sinful recipe of waffle mix used in most all the U.S. mid-level hotels. One of my fun activities is to make my own waffles in the hotel breakfast section in the morning. I discovered that the mix is called "Golden Malted." It has a hint of caramel and vanilla and you have to add melted butter to the batter.
Is it probably death by cholesterol? Probably. Is it outrageously delicious? Definitely. Well tomorrow I'm making Golden Malted waffles with my Waring Belgian waffle maker. When I do, wife Carey rolls her eyes. To her a waffle is a waffle and she'd much rather have the cantaloupe with blueberries anyway...![]()
