My wife has saved abandoned baby animals in the past, by carrying them around in her bra- a rabbit once scared the heck out of her dentist by popping up unexpectedly.
Times change. This week it’s a baby red squirrel, but there isn’t enough room in there any more. So he’s living in a woolen hat. His name is Monte, and he’s at work with her at the moment (she’s an interpreter at the local Pioneer Village).
Picked up my daughter at the airport this morning, back from visiting her beau in Kansas. They’re getting tired of the long distance thing- it looks like a wedding is going to happen sooner rather than later.
My mom’s dementia is increasing, but she’s still living independently with some extra help. We’re taking it day by day.
I strung up my #1 with black nylon tape wounds last night, and I’m digging it.
