Yes, I have them on my Fender 1962 AVRI Precision Bass.
I managed to find a couple of audio demo clips you posted earlier in this thread (#845). Yup, this is exactly what I want.

Aww man, @michael_t I was looking forward to your take on the BF’s on that P. any chance you’d cycle 1 week of BF’s then BN’s, winner gets to stay on the bass for the summer?
Serious question: - is it your experiencd that once you put a set on a bass it’s better to keep them there? Eg moving them to another bass, no matter how similar, inevitably is messing up the string in terms of its set, witness points, etc? Or is string swapping a consequence free pass time?
Do they make a C string?
I have yet to find a set of strings that feel as right as the Nickel Balanced, with my preference being the light sets. Every string feels the same, which makes it easier to find consistency in my playing, and build better muscle memory. They sound fantastic as well. They’re on the darker side of the tone spectrum, but they sound great nonetheless. Every now and then, I’ll venture out and try a different set of strings, only to end up coming right back to the NB’s after just a few days.
Are there any plans to do these for 32" medium scale basses?
I am using Pure Blues and TI jazz rounds. How does the smoothness/texture of the Balanced Nickel compare to these?
"Airy..."Just to let you know they work really well on a stingray. Warm and surprisingly „airy“ in the highs. They tame the stingray aggressiveness/clankieness a bit.

Do you feel that you still have good detail in the highs? Do harmonics "pop" as well as with brighter strings?
Thank you!Yes they have a lot of details in the highs. They aren’t dull or have less sustain like a flatwound. They definitely have less output so you have to crank the gain more. Sound is warm and airy with less growl and clank.
