Gibson Bass Guitar

(which) model of Gibson Bass Guitars you love?
iv never played a Gibson bass i liked .

While I wouldn't go quite so far as to say I've never played a Gibson bass I liked , I've definitely never played a Gibson bass that I loved.

I owned a Ripper L9-S and was "co-owner" of an EB-0, and I've played a few EB-3s, Grabbers, G3s, RD Artists, and Les Paul Triumphs. Sorry, nothing there that would ever get me to use the "love" word.

On the other hand, if you held a gun to my head and told me I had to play a Gibson bass on my next gig, I'd probably pick a Les Paul Signature model and not regret it one bit.

(Of course, that's 'cuz I know the next gig on my calendar is with a meat&potatoes rock'n'roll band and an LP Signature would probably lend itself rather nicely to that material. If my next gig was with a jazz band or a studio session I'd probably risk getting winged and try to wrestle the gun from your hand.)

I'm partial to the G3 myself.

Ditto. And the EB-2 is one of the most gorgeous instruments I've seen.
