GK mb200 ultra light head?

That's what I did and this cable was made so that I could run more than two monitors off a 4 ohm rated amp. What's with the "totally unnecessary"?
"totally unnecessary" was before I knew you wanted to run more than two cabs AND before I understood you wanted to be able to push it to overdrive at lower volumes. All is clear now. :)

Actually in the "bad ol' days" I commonly would run a 4 ohm vertical 2x15 on my side of the drummer and an 8 ohm 1x15 on the other side from a sub-200-watt 4 ohm rated SS amp no prob - dunno if that would cook one of these little guys or not :hmm: .

I believe that the MB200 requires a minimum 4Ω load (one 4Ω cab or two 8Ω cabs).

Hey: Is it doable/wise to run out of *both* the Line out and the Direct Out at the same time? I would like to sometimes drive a power amp with my MB200, and I’m thinking about different ways to drive both channels of the power amp. I mean, it’s easy to see how that could happen, using both outs; just making sure I don’t blow the little guy up.

So I pulled the trigger yesterday. So they are on backorder till around the middle of December.
Yep, mine is delayed as well.

Honestly, I consider this to be a good sign. So far, I can't really remember reading a notably bad post about them, I was pretty darn impressed with the one I played in a store, and they've already had some trouble "keeping them on the shelves". I have a feeling this amp fills a market nitch very nicely that's not well serviced by other products. I'm betting GK will do VERY well with it!

+1 I talked with Bob a little while back, and he said that the MB200's flying off the shelves. This little amp has so many totally viable uses! I can see why they're making a big hit.

I'm still a bit gushy over mine. Every time I pick it up I do a few pinky curls with it because I can't do that with my SVT or 1001RB-II. :D Tonight is my first band practice since I got it so I will see how it does. We can get pretty loud.
