I'm waiting for the MB212 to hit so I can check it out. Would be cool to pick one up and let some other things go, since space is tight at home and I'm usually using IEMs at gigs.

Quadzilla - definitely update us on your impressions when you get this amp in. I just found out about these amps and I'm VERY interested. I currently play through an older Yorkville 115 that weighs close to 80 lbs!

I would imagine very close, but if you look at some of the older threads, Bob G said that while the MB combo's amp and the head version are virtually identical (minus a couple bell and whistles) and also the speakers are the same in the cab version and the combo, the cab dimensions are smaller on the combo.

In most cases, this usually means less bottom, but without doing an A/B comparison, it's hard to say for sure. Word is that the MB210 has plenty of bottom (despite it's small size and weight), so maybe the same will hold true for the MB212?

I guess that's why you can get this incredible product at the incrediblly affordable price.

The MB212 has good power and easy portability.

My heart sank when I discovered it is "MADE IN CHINA". Looks like GK is slowly shifting their production overseas.

Bummer...
